Cameron Wurf is not only a very strong triathlete, but also a very strong cyclist who still combines both sports: of course we knew that already. It was Wurf showing this once again yesterday: after he competed in Paris-Roubaix, one of the world’s most famous cycling races (it covers 262 kilometers, mostly on cobbled lanes) he didn’t think it was enough. Even though the bike course was “so bumpy it hurt to pee” he still ran a half marathon afterwards. Not just for fun, but in a very high pace for sure: the bike ride was done in an average of over 42 kilometers per hour and the running in just over four minutes per kilometer. Impressive!
