Challenge Family Awards

The Challenge Family Awards were developed in 2019 to provide recognition to the global team of race directors and teams behind the scenes for all they do for the sport of triathlon through the delivery of their races.

Because it’s the athlete voice that counts most, Challenge Family Awards winners are voted for by athletes from around the world, with the shortlist based on the post-race surveys completed by athletes after each race.

“We’re incredibly proud of our race teams around the world and the communities that support them,” says Jort Vlam, Challenge Family CEO. “While not every race can win at the Awards, we recognise the commitment and dedication in each of them. Every race lives by our mantra, ‘All About The Athlete’ and the Challenge Family Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate together and share each others’ success.”
