Challenge Malaysia is set in a unique township call “Forest City” located in the state of Johor which is just a stone’s throw away from its neighbouring country, Singapore.
- Accessibility – Forest City is very accessible whether you are flying in or coming in by land. It’s less than an hour drive from Johor Bharu Airport that serves both international and domestic flights. Forest City is also less than 1.5 hours from Singapore by land, located just next to the “Tuas Second Link” a Malaysia-Singapore Bridge.

About Challenge Malaysia
The course is designed around spectator enjoyment as well as maximum athlete experience and kicks off with the 1.9km swim off the main beach and with average water temperatures at around 28C, you can leave your wetsuit at home! The 90km bike course ranges from cityscapes to ocean views to mangrove jungles, all on smooth, fast roads before a half marathon through the futuristic streets of Forest City, finishing in the tropical beachfront setting of the main race hub.
