Professional atletes WORLD BONUS

The World Bonus provided professional athletes with the opportunity to race for a share of a US $100,000 end-of-season bonus as well as a prize purse at the races. For 2025, the funds have been redistributed into the race prize purses to increase opportunity for all athletes.

LONG DISTANCE WORLD BONUS points breakdown

Challenge Family is proud to have a had pro athlete world bonus scheme connected to its races. The initiative provided professional athletes with the opportunity to race for a share of a US$100,000 end-of-season bonus as well as a prize purse at the races.

The US$100k bonus paid five deep across both men and women with the top ranked pros taking home $22k, second will earn $14k and third will win $8k, fourth $4k and fifth $2k.

Ranking was decided through a points system based on placings earned.
