New Bike Course for Challenge Gdańsk

Challenge Gdańsk is entering an exciting new chapter with a completely redesigned, single-lap bike course showcasing the breathtaking Żuławy Wiślane region – often called the “Polish Holland” for its expansive, flat landscapes. After several years of temporary multi-lap routes, athletes can now enjoy a fast, flowing course featuring just 68 m of elevation.

The new course takes athletes beneath the Vistula River through the modern under-river tunnel, before leading them onto quiet village roads surrounded by open countryside. A highlight of the route is a spectacular 3 km stretch along the EuroVelo 9 cycling path, positioned on top of the Vistula embankment with sweeping river views. Riders will then take on a wide, high-speed section of former national road – perfect for settling into aero and making up time.

The loop continues through the charming villages of Cedry Małe and Koszwały before guiding athletes back toward T2 and onto the run course.

This updated bike course promises a fast, memorable, and truly unique racing experience at Challenge Gdańsk.
