Following voting by athletes from around the world, the top Challenge Family races for 2025 have been revealed with today’s announcement of the Challenge Family Race Awards winners.
The Challenge Family Race Awards were developed in 2019 to provide recognition to the global team of race directors and teams behind the scenes for all they do for the sport of triathlon through the delivery of their races. The shortlist is decided based on the post-race surveys completed by thousands of athletes after each race with the final placings decided by athlete voting.
“Having these awards decided by athlete voting makes them especially meaningful, because they reflect the real experiences of the people at the heart of our sport,” said Challenge Family CEO, Jort Vlam. “At Challenge Family, we believe every athlete matters, whether they are crossing the finish line first or achieving a deeply personal goal. Our races are built on the strength of community, bringing together athletes, volunteers, race teams and host destinations in an environment that is welcoming, inclusive and supportive. These Awards are a testament to the passion and dedication of our global race teams who work tirelessly to create unforgettable experiences where every athlete feels valued and part of something bigger.”
