New Leader in Challenge Family Pro Athlete World Bonus

This weekend’s racing at Challenge Cagnes-sur-Mer saw Aurélia Boulanger (FRA) take the women’s lead in the Challenge Family Pro Athlete World Bonus rankings while Jack Moody (NZL) cemented his place at the top of the men’s league.

Boulanger’s win on the French Riviera was her third of the season with the Challenge Cesenatico and OTSO Challenge Salou titles already secured. The points earned saw her leapfrog over Rebecca Robisch (GER) to take the lead. However, Robisch will race at DATEV Challenge Roth this weekend, but she will need a fifth place or better to regain her place at the top of the table. Rounding out the top five at the halfway point of the year are Regan Hollioake in third, Marlene de Boer in fourth and India Lee tied with Alanis Siffert in fifth.

In the men’s standings, Moody’s fourth place at the weekend further increased his lead in the Bonus standings, now with 210 points over second place Jesper Svensson (SWE). Ognen Stojanovic (SER) is in third followed by Tom Hug (GER) in fourth. Marcel Bolbat’s fifth place at Challenge Cagnes-sur-Mer saw him break into the top five, tied in fifth place with Kristian Høgenhaug (DEN), Kyle Smith (NZL) and Kacper Stępniak (POL).
