Indoor cycling platform ROUVY has revealed a new series of virtual training camps designed to help athletes build fitness through the winter months, working in collaboration with WorldTour teams Lidl–Trek and Team Visma | Lease a Bike.
Running from December through to 28 February 2026, the programme is built around structured indoor training inspired by professional preparation methods. The camps are aimed at riders looking to develop endurance and strength during the off-season, providing a strong foundation ahead of spring and summer racing.
Participants will be able to train on newly released virtual routes filmed in three of Europe’s most popular pro training locations:
- Calpe, Spain (December): Six new routes across varied terrain, reflecting the region’s reputation as a winter base for professional teams.
- Tenerife, Canary Islands (January): Eight routes featuring long climbs and dramatic volcanic landscapes, ideal for sustained power work.
- Girona, Spain (February): Four undulating routes through an area widely used by elite cyclists for early-season conditioning.
According to ROUVY Experience Director Antonin Parma, the winter period is crucial for athletes of all levels. “The indoor season is the perfect time to build a solid base for the year ahead. These camps are designed to help riders push beyond their own expectations while training in environments used by the best in the sport,” he said.
The January training block will be launched with a special New Year’s Day Group Ride led by Belgian professional Victor Campenaerts of Team Visma | Lease a Bike. The social ride takes place on 1 January 2026 at 15:00 GMT and covers 12.77km on the Buenavista del Norte route in Tenerife. Campenaerts will also livestream the session on his YouTube channel, allowing riders to interact with him in real time.
“For me, it’s a tradition to start January with a steady ride,” said Campenaerts. “Normally it’s just with friends, but this year we’re inviting everyone on ROUVY to join in.”
