Fresh from his recent recovery phase, Funk is ready to reconnect with the community. During the IG livestream, he’ll share insights into his rehabilitation, his return to training, and what lies ahead as he builds toward the 2026 season.
The group ride will take athletes onto a stunning 40 km / 447 m segment of Challenge Wanaka in New Zealand – one of the most scenic courses in the Challenge Family series and the perfect backdrop for an early-season fitness test or a social spin with one of the sport’s rising stars.

All finishers will be eligible to enter a draw for a free Challenge Family race entry to selected events (excluding DATEV Challenge Roth). It’s a unique chance to secure your next start line simply by hopping on your trainer and enjoying the ride.
