With less than 100 days to go until Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, race day is fast approaching. If you’re competing in the Long Distance event and want to be part of the European Championship Long Distance, make sure to take action before the July 1st deadline!
What is the July 1st deadline?
Registering for the Long Distance race at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam does not automatically include you in the European Championship series. If you wish to compete for European titles – whether you’re a professional or age group athlete – you need to officially register through your national triathlon federation before July 1st.
Relaxed uniform requirements
Good news this year: the uniform rules for the European Championship have been relaxed. You’re free to race in any trisuit you prefer, as long as it includes your country code and the World Triathlon logo.
Action required
If you’ve already registered for the European Championship through your federation, there’s nothing more you need to do: see you on the start line September 13th!
If you haven’t yet contacted your federation, but do want to be included in the European Championship, don’t miss your opportunity. Reach out to your federation before July 1st!
