Xiamen in southeast China is home to Challenge Family’s latest middle distance race, Challenge Xiamen, taking place on 9-10 November 2024. With its scenic coastal course, and the region’s strong sporting legacy, Challenge Xiamen provides athletes with a world-class race experience to round out the year over middle, Olympic and sprint distance racing, plus a duathlon and an Ultra option combining the middle and Olympic distances.
The race is centred around the Huandong Romantic Coast, located in the Xiamen’s largest inner bay, Tong’an Bay with its warm, calm waters the perfect location for the 1.9km swim. The 90km bike and 21.1km run incorporate the dedicated coastal track with its spectacular views and traffic-free passage. Fast and flat, it’s a course for a personal best.
