We’re thrilled to reveal an exciting update for Challenge Samarkand athletes: in 2025, the bike course will feature a brand-new layout designed to be faster, more scenic, and even more memorable.
The essence of Challenge Samarkand remains the same – a race like no other, set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most breathtaking cities. Athletes will still enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, rich culture, and historic landmarks that define this event. But now, the ride goes further.
The updated bike course stretches to 88 kilometers in a single-loop format, taking athletes beyond the city limits and deep into the surrounding countryside. This change brings smoother pacing opportunities, extended straights, and sweeping views of Uzbekistan’s natural beauty – all while preserving the event’s unique blend of performance and spectacle.
