Challenge Samarkand increases prize money to $75,000

With a prize pool of a whopping $75,000, Challenge Samarkand has significantly increased the prize money to be earned for the 2025 edition of the race in Uzbekistan.

The prize money is obviously for pro athletes competing in the pro race, with the top six – both men and women – taking home a wonderful amount of prize money.

15000$ for the 1st place!
9000$ for the 2nd place!
6000$ for the 3rd place!
4000$ for the 4th place
2000$ for the 5th place
1500$ for the 6th place

Last year’s edition of Challenge Samarkand was won by Kristian Blummenfelt, with Gustav Iden finishing second and Rico Bogen third. The women’s race was won by Laura Madsen, followed by Marta Lagownik in second place and Justine Guerard in third.
