With ‘The Effort in You’, participants at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam can turn their training and race participation into a variety of benefits and prizes. This experience, crafted in collaboration with Muuvr, allows athletes to gain rewards for their commitment and determination, transforming their journey into tangible benefits both during and after the event.
How It Works
Muuvr is a free app that already connects tens of thousands of users, rewarding them for their physical activities. By swimming, cycling, and running, participants collect EXP ‘Experience Points,’ with more effort leading to more EXP earned. This emphasis on effort over performance means that a 100-kilogram novice athlete could easily earn more EXP for a ten-kilometre endurance run than a professional athlete who spends four hours on the bike. It’s not about speed – it’s about the effort you put in.
In line with this philosophy, ‘The Effort in You’ experience has been launched by Challenge Almere-Amsterdam and Muuvr. Within the Muuvr app, participants can join the specially created Challenge Almere-Amsterdam Team and participate in a pre-event challenge for free, earning EXP for every activity recorded. Simply participating brings great benefits at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam:
- Free welcome drink provided by Challenge Family.
- Muuvr-branded table at the Pasta Party, including special guests.
- Dedicated time slot for bib collection.
- Pre-event briefing given in person by Challenge Almere-Amsterdam Race Director Richard Belderok.
These exclusive benefits are available only to Muuvr app participants. Additionally, Muuvr members will get an extended Early Bird Discount for their Challenge Almere-Amsterdam 2025 registration: this lowest registration rate normally counts until September 18, but for Muuvr’s this rate is extended until October 1!

On Saturday, 14th September, during both the Long-distance and Middle-distance races, male and female athletes will have the opportunity to compete not just for finishing times, but for their sheer effort.
In a groundbreaking addition, the Muuvr who earns the most EXP (experience points) and links their activity in the Muuvr app will be crowned the winner, walking away with an exclusive and unique Challenge Family X-Bionic Cycling jersey worth 149 euros.
